This session will include a review of statistical data features in Euromonitor Passport, Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), IHS Connect, PRS CountryData.com, World Development Indicators as well as other resources available from Ginn Library’s website. Types of data reviewed for countries and worldwide include: company/brand market share, risk indicators, forecasts, digital and traditional economic indicators, sector and demographic statistics, etc.

R is a free, open-source statistical programming language used to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data. The flexibility of R allows large amounts of data to be processed and represented in ways that spreadsheet programs cannot. This introductory, hands-on workshop provides a brief overview of how R works and what it is capable of.

Introduction to Stata: Part 4 (Online)

The Introduction to Stata workshop is divided in four two-hour sessions and is designed to get you familiar with Stata. During the sessions, we will use datasets with global economic and development indicators. This workshop series is suitable for those who have not worked with Stata before or those seeking a refresher session. It is designed to progressively build knowledge, so it is essential to attend all sessions. By the end of the workshop series, you will be able to perform intermediate data analysis tasks.
