Study Spaces at Ginn

Ginn Library offers a variety of study environments to support different working styles and preferences. Study carrels, tables, standing desks, and soft seating are available throughout the building. See our seating floor plan.

Graduate Study Area

Certain study rooms at Ginn—specifically the Reading Room and the Core & Periodicals Room—are designated for Fletcher student use. This includes students earning Fletcher degrees as well as those in the Business Certificate program.

  • Access requires a Fletcher ID card tap at the door.
  • Please maintain silence.
  • Cell phones must be on silent; voice calls are not permitted.
  • No food; covered drinks permitted.

These rooms are intended for focused, independent work. Library staff can assist with retrieving any materials stored inside if needed.

Group Study Area

(Lower and Upper Reference, Couch Lounge area, Lower Stacks, and Study Rooms)

  • Quiet conversation and group collaboration are permitted.
  • Cell phones should be on vibrate or silent.
  • Voice calls are permitted in enclosed study rooms only.
  • No food; covered drinks permitted.

Silent Study Area

(Third Floor Stacks)

  • Silent, independent study only.
  • Cell phones must be on silent.
  • No voice calls.
  • No food; covered drinks permitted.

Reserve a Study Room

Fletcher students can reserve a study room before their visit.
