A special delivery arrived this semester from the Dean’s office: a cart of books by Fletcher faculty and alums, most with handwritten dedications from their authors to Dean Stavridis or his predecessor, Dean Stephen Bosworth. The books have been put on display outside the reference and technology offices in the library’s main reading room.

An eminent map collector and friend-of-Fletcher has recently donated a collection of maps to Ginn. These turn-of-the century maps chart territory around the globe and are now available to students for research…and to cartophiles for general perusal! If you’re interested in exploring the collection, just make an appointment with a librarian and we will retrieve the maps that spark your curiosity.
Our student workers have been working hard to learn the ropes, and by now they can help you—and in some cases even read minds. If all you know about the Reserve book you need to borrow is that it is big and red, don't worry: we've got you covered.

Ginn Library is accepting submissions from the Fletcher community for the Perspectives Gallery. We welcome both photography and digitized two-dimensional works on paper such as illustrations, watercolor, pen and ink drawings, gouache, woodblock prints, etchings, etc. Please send in photos/art from your travels while at Fletcher, whether these occur during any of the academic breaks or during the school year.
