Stata Session - Part 1
We provide an overview of the Stata interface and basic functions. First, we introduce students to the general features of the program and key terminology. We teach them how to open, save and export different types of datasets. Finally, we calculate descriptive statistics.
Prerequisites:
- No prior experience OR currently taking EIB E213 Econometrics; Those already familiar with Stata may skip this session and advance to Stata: Part 2.
- Follow these instructions to download and install Stata through Tufts.
