Establish or Contribute to a Book Fund

The establishment of book funds offers a meaningful way to honor or memorialize someone and celebrate important occasions.  

The Michael A. Bradley Memorial Book Fund was established so that the Ginn Library may build a collection of materials on international human rights, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ international rights. 

 

The Issam Fares Book Fund was established to provide support for the acquisition of a collection of books, journals, documentary materials, and online resources related to the Middle East and Gulf region, including materials in non-English languages. 

 

The primary purpose of the Fleck Fund is to purchase books for needy female fellows. It is also intended for acquisitions in East Asia and Middle East studies. 

 

The John Stevenson Hay Book Fund was established for the purchase of books on conflict resolution and East-West security studies. It also supports purchases of books on international security studies and human rights. 

 

The Imlah Book Fund was established for the purchase of books on European diplomatic history, with emphasis on the period 1812-1939. 

 

The Michael Maney Library Fund was established to support the development of collections in international law. 

 

The Gavriel Ra'anan Memorial Book Fund was established in order to support the purchase of materials on the countries of the former Soviet Union and Eastern and Central Europe. 

 

The Sasakawa Book Fund provides funding to keep The Fletcher School's North Pacific and Maritime Studies collection current and comprehensive.
