Course Reserves

Can I borrow print Reserve books in Fall 2020?

No. During the pandemic, we are taking the necessary precaution of quarantining all returned books for 72 hours (which has been found to be the most efficient way to disinfect the books without damaging them). Hourly print Reserve lending would be unsafe for library patrons and staff. We also cannot lend the books for longer periods, since professors might request scanned chapters from them at any time to share with enrolled course students on Canvas.

How do I find my course readings?

1. Library catalog: See Fall 2020 Course Reserves for a list of ebooks for each course in the library catalog. You can access ebooks from off campus with your Tufts login.

2. Canvas: Check your course’s Canvas site to see if your professor has linked to or uploaded other readings.

3. ILL: If the reading you need is not in the library catalog or Canvas, put in an ILL request for a print copy of a book or a PDF of a chapter or article.
