Call-for-Work: Ginn Library's Perspectives Gallery is Back!

After a two-year hiatus, Ginn Library's Perspectives Gallery is thrilled to accept submissions from the Fletcher community. You are welcome to submit photographs and two-dimensional works on paper, such as illustrations, watercolor, pen and ink drawings, gouache, woodblock prints, and etchings. Please submit photos or works on paper made during your travels while at Fletcher. We encourage all first-year students to submit photographs or works on paper made two years before enrolling at Fletcher.

In celebration of being officially back in person and together on campus, our theme for this fall is community. We welcome photographs or works on paper that tell stories and embody the spirit of community. Ultimately, we want to see and feel what community means to you.

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

Photography Submissions:

  • Email your submissions in the highest resolution possible (.raw file are welcome; otherwise .jpg, .tiff, .png files are fine).
  • Do NOT crop your images.
  • Save your images as LASTNAME.FIRSTNAME (if you are submitting multiple images, please number them).
  • Include location where each image was taken. If any of your photos are selected for the exhibition, we will reach out and ask for more details including the story behind the photo(s) you took.

Artwork Submissions:

  • Email a photograph of the work and list the medium.
  • If you choose to not exhibit the original work, we will order a print 8x12 in size. In this case, please send a scanned copy of your work in the highest resolution as possible. The minimum required resolution for scanned submissions is at least 300 DPI.

 Submission Due Date:

Please email your submissions to Meg Chandler at by October 11 at 11:59PM.
